Wool prices fell across the board in August with medium wools hit the hardest. Wools between 20 and 23 microns dropped 35-55¢ month-on-month. Wools 19.5 micron and finer held their ground a bit better, with prices falling an average of 15-35¢/kg clean. This has seen fine wool premiums recover slightly throughout the month. Yet, from a percentile point of view, medium wools remain ahead of the pack.
