We have had numerous queries recently regarding the premium, or lack thereof, for better quality milling wheat compared to lower quality milling wheat, and feed wheat. Many growers are wondering why their H1 and H2 wheat is not attracting a premium, while consumers would like to see ASW and SFW bought at a discount. The story, as always in commodity markets, comes back to supply and demand.
