What’s going on with the 15 micron category?

In mid-2015, the prospects for 16 micron and finer wool looked good as seasonal conditions had great promise. The cumulative 12-month volume of 15 micron and finer wool was falling by around 30%, and the groundwork for a recovery in fine wool premiums seemed to be building. Now it’s six months on, what is happening with sub-16 micron production and premiums?
