A couple of weeks ago we used some benchmarking data from Agriculture Victoria’s Livestock Farm Monitor Project (LFMP) to look at the record profitability of Cattle Enterprises in 2015-16. When comparing to other enterprises there was a significant difference between the gross margins of lamb and wool enterprises. Today we take a deeper look at the data to find out why, and whether increased wool prices will narrow the difference.
