Weekly Wool Forwards – week ending 18/11/16

Key points


A lower A$ and a jump in prices at the physical auction saw the wool forwards market spring to life this week with trades noted in the 19 and 21 micron categories.

The 19 mpg fibre contrtact traded at 1550¢ for a January 2017 maturity, 1525¢ for April 2017 and 1495¢ for May 2017.

In the 21 micron class there were traded noted at 1405¢ for Jan/Feb 2017, 1395¢ for March 2017, 1365¢ for April 2017 and 1370¢ for June 2017.
