With the season running well ahead of schedule in part of New South Wales and northern Victoria, we have been seeing new season lambs appearing at markets. There are reports that the supply flush will be earlier than normal this year. For those with suckers in the 18-22kg cwt range, this begs the question, do I sell now or wean them and take through to heavy lambs? This article aims to help this decision.
