WA livestock markets well supported in October – monthly percentiles

After moving to a considerable discount to their eastern states counterparts, WA lamb markets have finally recovered some ground and are now back in line with the east. Restocker and merino lambs were undoubtedly the best performing categories in October in WA, climbing back to their 85-87th percentile levels. Cattle markets remained relatively steady at historically high levels in October, particularly cows and feeder yearlings.
