WA livestock markets losing ground

WA lamb markets have cooled off in the last five to seven weeks, with most categories already 15-30% below their peaks in late June. Yet, most lamb categories remain up to 50-60¢ higher than their eastern counterparts. On the cattle market front, finished steer and cow prices have also started to move lower after peaking in the last week of July.
