The insatiable demand for lean beef supplies from the US continues to underpin the record pace of Aussie beef exports this year. Total shipments rebounded 6% month-on-month in September to sit only 3,000 tonnes swt below the record mark set in July, at 118,605 tonnes swt. Year-to-date volumes are now bordering the 940,000 tonnes mark, an astonishing 17% surge on the record levels seen in 2013 during the period.
