Tight supply to continue to prop the lamb job up

The extraordinary rise in lamb prices in January would suggest very weak supply. However, due to a quirk of the calendar the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) figures show this wasn’t the case. This week we again take a look at lamb supplies, and whether the tighter numbers we are currently seeing are going to come back and impact the market – which will be central to lamb price movements later in the year.
