Tight supplies could see ESTLI above 500¢/kg in the short term

The Eastern States Trade Lamb Indicator (ESTLI) has found its comfort zone around 400¢/kg cwt over the last four months, but not for so much longer. A projected reduction in slaughter, and consequently tightening lamb supplies, is likely to see prices rally up to 30% in the next 3-6 months.
