The current season mirrors 2005 in more ways than one.

A recent analysis piece comparing the current cattle season to 2005, particularly with respect to price movement, rainfall and slaughter levels, highlighted some remarkable similarities between the two years. As part of the June update to the Mecardo processor margin cut-out model a comparison was made between this year and 2005 which provided additional interesting results.
