Tasmanian weaners look like a good buy, particularly heifers – March percentiles

Tasmanian lamb markets have posted a relatively poor performance in March with most lamb categories easing more than 40¢ during the month. Last week prices rebounded strongly but only the TAS light and trade lamb indicators were quoted due to restricted yardings. On the cattle front, weaner prices have been well above 2013 and 2014 levels but still substantially below the highs of 2011.
