Tasmanian lamb markets slightly softer in May – monthly percentiles

After some considerable loses in mid-May, lamb markets rebounded last week to finish May only a touch lower month-on-month. Trade and heavy lambs remain the best quoted categories in absolute and percentile terms (97th percentile), but closely followed by mutton (94th percentile). Weaner steers were marginally higher in early May and in line with eastern states prices.
