Tasmania sheep and lamb prices fall sharply, now in line with other states – monthly percentiles

Tasmanian sheep and lamb prices dived sharply during September, shedding between 79¢ and 133¢/kg cwt month-on-month. That said, the falls were from a high base, so finished lamb prices now sit largely in line with the other states, around the 70th percentile mark. As with the rest of the country, cow prices in Tasmania remained strong, at the 95th percentile.
