Lamb prices have continued to move higher this week. Values are now 40¢/kg cwt or 10% up on the spring lows as the supply of lambs dries up, about a month after the season dried up. This is usually the case, but the season finished early this year. Adding to upward momentum is no doubt the rain forecast for this week. Producers that can grow summer feed will look at holding, and in some cases buying, lambs. But is there money in it?
