Stable EYCI but mixed across the board

While the Eastern Young Cattle Indicator (EYCI) finished June only 3¢ higher month-on-month at 335.25¢/kg cwt, young cattle prices were very mixed across the east coast. Warrnambool was the worst performing EYCI saleyard with average young cattle prices plunging 36¢ month-on-month to 326¢/kg cwt. Tamworth, on the other hand, saw EYCI cattle prices jumping 18¢ in June to 347¢/kg cwt.
