Spring price downtrend kicks off in August for Victorian lambs - monthly percentiles

After holding ground better than NSW in July, August saw downside pressure slowly build in Victoria. Most finished lamb categories eased around 40¢ month-on-month to their 65-73rd percentile levels, while merino lambs plummeted 77¢ to their 56th percentile. Cattle markets, on the other hand, fared slightly better with cows and heavy steers climbing their way back above their 90th percentiles.
