Short-term headwinds - a bump in the road for cattle prices?

After an extraordinary performance in December 2014 and January, finished cattle markets stalled in early February and have been losing ground since. While prices remain historically high, the ongoing strong supplies, and more recently, the easing beef export prices are denting the positive prospects for cattle markets for the short-term. Will this be a mere bump in the road or something more?
