Rains benefit cattle while heavier lambs stall in Victoria – monthly percentiles

Victorian trade and heavy lambs remained in the 90-95th percentile range during March following a strong and long-lasting recovery. Light and merino lambs, as well as mutton, finally made their move to see the gap to heavier lines narrowing. Victorian finished cattle markets got exactly what they needed: rainfall in NSW and Queensland.
