Price effect of staple length

The wool supply chain regularly makes comment on various aspects of wool production such as the standard of preparation, contamination and staple length. Ultimately, where price can be linked to the issue, it is price which is the key comment on these issues. For staple length, there is ample opportunity for the supply chain to send price signals to farmers with regards their preferences. This article takes another look at staple length and its effect on price.
