Only rain will stop the flow – or at least slow it

Live cattle exports continued to track well above year-ago levels in September to see year-to-date shipments reaching an astonishing 956,935 head. That’s just 15,000 head shy of the annual record of 971,880 head set in 2002. Robust demand from Indonesia remains the key driving force behind record shipments this year, while abundant store cattle supplies add some fuel to the trade.
