NSW and Victorian restocker lamb prices diverge.

The price of NSW and Victorian restocker lambs tend to follow a similar pattern throughout the year. While the spread between the two prices can vary it is uncommon for the spread to widen due to the respective prices heading in opposite directions, as was the case last week. This analysis looks at the historic spread between the two categories of lamb in order to determine what is the normal pattern for this price relationship.
