Wheat markets continue to drift lower, with CBOT Wheat moving back to a five-year low and now sitting just 7% above an eight-year low. Meanwhile, local prices are trying to fall but grower resistance to lower prices is seeing basis creep higher. This is creating opportunities for growers to take advantage of stronger basis.
