Mixed results in NSW livestock markets in August - monthly percentiles

While lamb markets continued to ease in August in NSW, cattle remained steady to firmer on the back of the widespread rains seen a couple of weeks ago. On the one hand, trade lamb prices have moved to a 7-month low of 440¢/kg cwt. On the other, the NSW cow indicator has managed to rally 46¢ month-on-month to 325¢/kg cwt, a 26-month high and its 98th percentile.
