It is no secret that beef processors enjoyed ideal trading conditions during the 2013-14 seasons. A strong drought induced turnoff kept local prices in check while high demand for export beef, particularly from the US, allowed product to be placed reasonably easily and at good prices. Recent reports from processors suggest that the situation is very different now, but is it?
