Lamb slaughter still tracking lower – can it continue?

With spring lamb slaughter now behind us, and now five months into the ‘new lamb’ season, we can take a look at production forecasts and slaughter levels and assess how many lambs might be left. As we have said many times before, lamb markets are driven by supply. So, if we can get a handle on supply, price forecasts are much easier.
