Lamb outperform cattle in SA once again – November percentiles

After bottoming in late October, SA lamb and mutton markets have posted a solid recovery supported by dwindling supplies and firm processor demand. Trade and heavy lambs have gained 45-50¢ month-on-month and are now at around 475¢/kg cwt, or their 75th percentiles. Cattle prices, on the other hand, continued to slide in November to see all SA indicators underperforming their eastern states counterparts.
