Lamb downtrend abates for now; cows on the rise

Although lamb markets found some ground in NSW last week, the losses seen over the seven previous weeks vary from 80 to160¢, or 15-30%, depending on the category. In percentile terms, that puts them back to the 70-85th range. On the cattle market front, store and finished steer prices have been fairly steady during the period while cow prices are finally firming up.
