Australian lamb exports have grown steadily over the last 15 years, and has picked up pace with a 35% growth in the export market over the last three years. This year, ABARES expects the value of exports to rise more rapidly than volumes. This suggests it is largely improving demand driving increasing exports, and driving lamb prices to the highs we have been seeing this year.
