Down, down – prices went down (but not that far).

In January 2017 we took a stab at using long term historic cattle price declines to get an idea of what we could expect for the 2017 season in terms of a magnitude easing for the Eastern Young Cattle Indicator (EYCI). This piece follows up on the original article and put some boundaries around the likely EYCI declines for the season ahead.
