Cows are apparently cheap – but not everywhere

As with the EYCI, cow prices have been carrying the heavy burden of elevated supplies and a chronic lack of rainfall. January already has seen the national cow indicator underperforming relative to the EYCI by a fair margin. Seen in this light, cow markets have had a deplorable start in 2014, a somewhat half-truth statement.
