Cow price recovery outstrips the EYCI, further upside ahead

After bottoming at 278.75¢/kg cwt in May, the Eastern Young Cattle Indicator (EYCI) has seen a firm recovery and is up 15% since. During the same period, the national cow indicator hit rock bottom at 193¢/kg but is now back at 257¢/kg cwt, a healthier 33% rebound. Prices should continue to rise in the coming months, but how much further?
