Cow discounts to EYCI to widen in 2016 and beyond

Following our previous analysis on female cattle slaughter, this article looks into what’s in store for cow market markets as the recent herd liquidation draws to a close. Cow prices are expected to improve in 2016 and beyond as female slaughter contracts sharply. That said, cows are still expected to underperform the Eastern Young Cattle Indicator (EYCI). The question is, by how much?
