Cattle outshines lambs in NSW – January percentiles

Cattle markets have posted a stellar performance since sales resumed in early January. With gains in the order of 15-30% from the last sale in 2014, all NSW cattle indicators, except for trade steers, finished the month at record highs. Despite the positive start in early January, lamb markets have struggled consolidate previous gains. That said, they still remain quoted around their 95th percentiles.
