Cattle markets bordering on 10-year lows – QLD percentiles

A May surge in cattle throughput in Queensland saw prices plummeting to one of the lowest levels in at least 10 years. All finished cattle indicators fell 30-50¢ month-on-month to move below their 10th percentile. Feeder steers were the only ones that held their ground slightly better, easing only 10¢ month-on-month to 172¢/kg lwt, or the 28th percentile.
