Cattle catch up with lambs after autumn break – Victoria Percentiles

Victorian lamb and mutton prices continued to ascend to record high levels in April, a result of robust export demand and a favourable autumn break. All lamb categories are now above their 95th percentile while mutton is bordering its 90th. Young and finished cattle markets have posted a solid recovery as supplies start to dwindle and restocker demand strengthens.
