Capitalising on export demand – WA style

Despite the retraction in WA cattle prices, cows, heavy yearling and feeders remain very well priced in historical terms. Without the supply issues seen in the east, WA markets have been able to capitalise on the strong export demand and higher international beef prices. While cows remain the best performing category in the state, steers are not too far behind.
