Beef exports on track to surpass 2013 record by 15%

November beef shipments were still 13% above year-ago levels at 112,396 tonnes swt, despite the 8% contraction in Aussie beef exports from October’s all-time high. On the demand front, the US remains the driving force behind record shipments this year. That, of course, has been only possible due to the ongoing record Aussie slaughter levels, particularly of breeding stock.
