Beef exports lower in September but close to 20% higher than in 2012

Australian beef exports in September retreated from the high levels of July and August, but remain well above 2012 and the 5-year average for this time of year. While the Chinese ban on chilled beef has not seriously impacted the market yet, proper action needs to be taken to make sure no spill over effects occur into the core business of frozen exports.
