Asia – The long-standing shining star among lamb export markets

History continues to repeat itself, with exports to Asia breaking another monthly record and surpassing the short-lived October record by 8% to reach 7,576 tonnes swt. Underpinned by lower saleyard prices and abundant supply, total Aussie lamb exports eased 5% from October’s all-time record. However, at 19,774 tonnes swt, they remained 6% higher year-on-year.
