What’s different about the 2015 wool price rise?

The strong price rally seen in the wool market during the past month is built on record prices for cardings (the Merino Cardings indicator is above 1100 cents), crossbred combing prices and a weaker Australian dollar. This article takes a quick look at other major fibre price levels, and mulls on the marked difference in wool values from an exchange rate perspective.
