There were only two fine wool and two medium wool trades in forward market this week. However, in contrast to last week, there were some minimum price contracts transacted this week.
Both trades in 19 micron wool saw deal at 1800¢ for August 2017. While the 21 micron wool dealt at 1422¢ and 1417¢ for August and September 2017 respectively.
All the minimum price contracts were in 19 micron wool with a strike price of 1875¢, 1775¢ and 1725¢. The one with a strike price of 1875¢ paid a premium of 40¢ to exercise his rights and it would mature in June 2017. While the other two contracts paid a premium of 35¢ that would expire in August and September 2017.
