Weekly Wool Forwards – week ending 04/11/16

Activity in the forward wool market this week noted in the 19, 19.5, 21 and 28- micron fleece as the softer physical auction market prompts growers to get set on their levels.

At the finer end the 19 mpg contracts traded at 1520-1525¢ for Nov and Dec 2016 maturities, while the 19.5 fleece dealt at 1510 for Nov 2016.

Medium fibres saw the 21-micron contract deal at 1370¢ for Nov and Dec 2016 and the broader fleece had a trade in the 28-micron at 690¢ for Dec 2016.
