This week saw solid trade in wool forward market with action happening in both fine and medium wools. Compared to previous weeks, this week was busier and lively. There were four trades in fine and six in medium wools.
2017 saw two trades in November, one in 18.5 micron category at 1950¢ and another in 21 micron at 1560¢. Rest of the trades were dealt for 2018. 18.5 micron saw a deal in February 2018 at 1940¢. 19 micron wool saw some action at 1800¢ and 1790¢ for February and April respectively. While 21 micron wool dealt at 1530¢ for January, 1520¢ for February, 1499¢ for June and between 1495¢ and 1500¢ for May, 2018.
There were no minimum price contracts this week.
