Riemann Wool Forwards – week ending 05/02/2016

A relatively slow session this week saw late February grower order filled in the coarse wool category trading to 745¢ in the 30-mpg.

For participants that are unaware, there is an ability in the Riemann system to place orders for the one grower across microns if desired for the one parcel. These are called OCO or “one cancels other” orders and enable and order to be placed in the 21 micron and 19 micron categories at the same time for the same batch of wool at different prices. If one leg of the order gets dealt upon the system automatically cancels the other leg so there is no ability for both sides of the order to be transacted upon.

For more information about how these OCO orders work feel free to call us at Mecardo to discuss.
