A strong rally in the northern auctions set the pace for the week in the physical market and Tuesdays robust day was followed up by good gains across the nation on Wednesday. The auction activity flowed into the forward market where grower orders were filled across tenors and microns.

The 19-micron category traded as high as 1405¢ for mid-year maturity and at 1400¢ for late in 2016. May 2016 maturity 21-micron traded from 1370 to 1400¢ and April 2016 tenor orders were also filled at 1400¢.

Orders filled for June 2017 were also transacted at 1300¢.
